At Leech & Co, we have a small, hard-working and friendly team. Our aim is to help all our clients plan for, and protect, theirs and their family’s future.
We are a firm of trusted Solicitors with a combined total of over 50 years of experience of helping clients with their legal matters. Our clients say we are professional and efficient, but also friendly, warm and approachable. Our offices are in the Old Police Station in Urmston and we have a comfortable, ground floor and accessible meeting room. (See our ‘Where to find us’ section for more details.)
However, if you’re unable to come to the office, we can come to you for a home visit.

Matthew Connery, Solicitor
Matthew qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and is the Director of Leech & Co.
Matthew is known for his personable and friendly approach to his clients and his attention to detail in legal matters and client care. He is passionate about ensuring that all clients of Leech & Co receive comprehensive, expert and easy-to-understand legal advice together with excellent client care at all times.
Outside of work, Matthew is a keen hiker, biker and runner (250+ parkruns and counting) and enjoys Pilates every week at the Pilates Studios in Urmston. Matthew volunteers each week at Stretford Foodbank.
Rachael Allibone, Solicitor
Rachael Allibone qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and has practised as a private client solicitor for the entirety of this time.
Rachael joined Leech & Co in January 2025, having previously practiced in North Manchester and prior to that, the Lake District (where she is originally from). Rachael is known for her friendly, practical, professional approach to her clients.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys going for walks with her husband and dog, curling up with a good book, going to concerts, any kind of motor sports, spending time with her family and friends and she is a season ticket holder for the Manchester United Women Football Club.
Claire Taylor, Legal Executive
Claire Taylor is a legally qualified Litigation Executive.
Claire has worked for Leech & Co for more than 15 years and has extensive experience helping clients resolve their legal issues.
Claire enjoys getting to know her clients and is passionate about delivering a clear, friendly and professional service to all clients.
Outside of work, Claire is a keen hiker and runner (she is a member of Blackburn Road Runners and has run several marathons), she has competed in the Great North Swim in Windermere and has also competed in horse trials with her horse, Noah. Claire is a passionate and (very good) chef. She has completed cookery courses at college, enjoys baking and has cooked for charity events.
